My name is Tad Thompson and I am the pastor of Harvard Avenue Baptist Church. I am oh so close in completing my EDD in leadership at Southern Seminary. I love to write and research on leadership issues. My desire is for this blog to help equip pastors, staff, and laypeople in the area of leadership.

Tad,
I’m a pastor here in NWA. I hold strongly to reformed theology and covenant theology. I am very curious about your leadership training ministry. I am a young pastor and have a need for more practical training. I’ll continue to look into your website. Do you have current training opportunities available in NWA?
Thanks.
Brett
At http://www.leadership501.com we are interviewing a number of people from a variety of backgrounds about leadership. Specifically we are concentrating on questions that would be helpful to new leaders. Our goal is to give people a variety of perspectives on what it takes to develop as a new leader. We’d love to include your answers to the questions below. Short answers of even a few sentences are just fine, but feel free to write as much or little as you like. Personal experiences, stories or examples are also very welcome.
We are hoping to have all the answers in by the end of Saturday the 3rd of May. (If you want to participate, but need more time, just let me know.)
